Video Game QA at Activision

Helped with functionality testing of unreleased video games. Eventually assisted with onboarding new testers to projects. Later down the line ran training classes for new employees to learn company best practices for testing and how to test for issues in games.

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII (2018)

    As a QA tester I did functionality testing on PS4, XB1, and PC platforms. One of my main responsibilities became testing localized package installs. I developed a way to track the locations of installs across the test floor via an interactive spreadsheet utilizing VLOOKUP functions to improve day to night shift pass off.

  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019)

    Did early alpha testing on XB1 and later as a senior tester helped coordinate testers in small and large groups for focused testing. Some of those groups included natural progression testing, large-scale Ground War mode testing, and more.

  • Call of Duty Warzone (2020)

    Helped with organizing 100-200 player playtests and escalating playtest issues to the LA QA team. Worked to assign mode performance based tasks and checks to the team for reproduction.
